Our story

We never thought that a simple idea would grow into something so much bigger.

It all started when Madelon and Bandy, after yet another walk in the same area, were looking for an off leash area app, but nothing really met our expectations.

Our dog Vanjie loves the outdoors, and five months later, two programming courses, hours of research into municipalities, and development, the moment had arrived: the pitch to Pascal.

A little nervous but full of hope, Bandy presented it to colleague Pascal, who immediately saw the potential. With Madelon’s love for nature, Bandy’s eye for detail, and Pascal’s speechlessness after the presentation (and his technical skills), we decided to go for it together: Snufl was born!

In August 2024, Snufl became available to the general public. We are incredibly grateful for all the support and can’t wait to help even more dogs and their owners enjoy beautiful walks!
